Golden Autumn Afternoon
There is nothing better then walking along the road and gazing out at the beautiful Autumn trees. God's paintbrush has been to work this year with the very rich colorful trees. I did have to help out this picture a bit. A few nights before, we had a wind storm and it had knocked off some of the leaves. So I was able to use a few Photoshop plug-ins to help blend in the bare trees and give them a little life.
Calling all Photoshop lovers! If you would like to know of the plugins I used for this photo, I have provided the link to the plug in below. It's called Color Efex from Nik Software. It gave me the chance to really have the colors rich and vibrant.
Nik Software, INC.
As we approach this holiday season, I think we all have to remember to take one day at a time. To live in the moment and appreicate all that is around us.

More then just a pink Hibiscus flower
There comes a time when you are truly proud of the smallest things like planting a flower in your backyard. For many people, this is just not a big deal.
For me, it was! My husband planted this hibiscus bush in our backyard. He does not like planting but he did it for me, so I can have this beautiful flower to photograph.
I am dedicating this picture to my husband. Thank you, my love!

"Fortress For Your Tears" by daphsam | RedBubble:
Where is your fortress of fears,
Does it cradle all your tears,
Will it hold through the years,
Don't self-destruct in front of your peers.
